Turns out the Wellingtons were much more effective than the SM79s(He11s). Not sure what was up with the Luftwaffe bombers but they missed most of their targets on the initial run up.

Jabo said there will be no lucky die-roll to rebuild. We could close the field at Lampedusa and take it out of play for the game.

The difference is that the DR's are flying the He111. They simply are not the bombs on target pilots that Hawk and company are.

With 3 times the bombers, they get 1/2 as many targets, 6 to 1 at least for the Knights <S>
