http://www.squadselectseries.com/events/SOM/SOMmap.pdf

priority missions:

1. Protect Malta at all Cost

2. Protect Shipping Lanes

3. Kill Bombers

Strategy is as follows:
475th will Launch at T+0 to Head Southwest to protect Shipping lanes until called back to Malta upon confirmation of enemy buffs on Radar. Once the the for Squadron Scramble is ordered AE's/8th/Knights/69th will launch towards the South and then will proceed towards the 9,4 cross and scout until notified by GCI to engage.

Basing:

AE's/8th FG at f218

475th/RCAF at f225

Knights/69th at f221

Any Changes will be made in RED based upon further analysis.

<S> RCFLYS, and welcome to the best seat in the house....make sure you have plenty of the following, malox or similar anti acid, coffee, candy and a stress relief ball to squeeze.....:)
127 Wing orders received and distributed. Will be (hopefully) on comms with the 475th.
Good luck, ignore the negative and remember this is your plan and you are committed to it and most of all the enemy will always not do what you think,,, be ready to change on the fly.

Dobs input....don't fly right at the mass of incoming Axis. Offset one side....creates confusion when only 1/2 of their guys see the us approaching. They don't have Radar...we do. HUGE Tactical advantage. Speaking of Radar does anyone have a map showing Axis Radar coverage?

Possible Pincer....or Champagne tactic (2 arms and a group in trail up the middle). Key is to make sure we are all converging (arms) at the same time....and maybe we can get the trail group on the bombers without fighter interference.

I can make a map or a dtf of dar coverage. I favor DTF so it can be turned off if the map is too busy. Downside is it doesn't distort proportionally to the the tower menu on widescreens.

Orders received.
Knights should have around 7-10 pilots for the scramble.

You can only launch 2 steps of fighters at T+0, 475/RCAF is 3 steps.

You should launch AE/8th or the Knights at T+0 as they are both 2 steps.

When Jabo says we can launch a field, that is when 475/RCAF can go up together.

For all of us to be released, Jabo will need to allow us to launch 2 fields. Not everyone can go up at the first release unless Jabo says all scramble.
