S3 Series

Ok, looks like no one is stepping up so the Knights are going to up 52 in fighters and defend 65 and 52 from an assault from 66.

Hawk, you may want to rethink that, per jabo's frame 2 update:

The front has moved in the north. T38 is German to begin play in Frame 3.
The front has moved in the south. M52 is Allied but closed. M65 is German but closed.

Hmm, I guess i will. Wish we had a frame CO. Still, I think the Knights will all be in fighters for now and patrol the front.

This "planning map" is not quite as precise as the Muzz Map will be when it comes out, but it should give some "rough idea" of what the front looks like in Frame 3.



If one notes the "small print" on the Rides and Sides chart, each Group is OBLIGATED to fly specified aircraft a specified number of Frames. If the Knights switch to "all fighters" the question I would have is will you find yourself in a Squadron of C-47s in the Air Transport Command in the final Frame?
EDIT: The question is not on the use of the fighter aircraft, but on the lack of use of the bomber aircraft in any or all of the remaining Frames.



It would be nice if Jabo would advise on this. Other "rules" seem to be suspended in this Series, why not another? I would be hopeful that at the end of this Series that S3 pilots are invited to chime in on just how wonderful CA happens to be in S3 play.

Dewolf, check the rides: they can fly any or all of the fighters on the allied side.

I surrender my Rules Interpretation Merit Badge to Mr. =Wilz=. Apparently you don't have to fly another bomber for the rest of the Series.
