S3 Series

Years ago several S3 players chipped in to get Jabo a new computer. The deal was we got to see him fly a frame. I am not sure that has happened yet.

There was some money left over and it was appreciatedly routed to myself and Roan in the form of a newegg gift certificate. I had intended to buy a video card with it, but alas there were none to upgrade to given my older system. So, I sat on it until recently.

I have not been able to play WB like I can now in many years. It's almost like a new game to me. I just built a brand new computer and used the gift towards the purchase. I went from 30 fps with every thing toned down to 125 fps with all the bells and whistles turned on. And it is so smooth...

Thanks again for helping to make this possible. I was and still am very honored for this gift and have put it to good use.

I think we have had two different parsers before Phenix. His makes the S3s so much easier to manage and score and day in and day out he is ontop of the events, for at least a decade now. That is priceless. Thank you Mr. Mastercard.

I'm glad we are able to all chip, I mean who doesn't like a nice fruit cake but something that keeps on making a difference is awesome.

Again, thank you all for the huge amount of time you put in for our benefit.

P.S. 30 --> 125 fps... I fly with 25 fps average, 15-20 fps when turning in combat

It's great to hear that you are finally able to fly again. I thought I may have seen you inflight recently. Glad to hear that it was you.

Hope Jabo gets to fly soon. My guys used to always ask me what happened to him and the new computer. It would be great if he gets to jump into the skies, too.
