I think the IJ will go after the CVs again, like they did in Frame 3.
Orders are as follows:
23rd: F4Us from CV 5 or 6 :T+0 launch to protect the CVs.
352nd; F4Us from CV 7 or 8: T+0 launch to protect the CVs.
(Maybe mid frame raid by one or both groups on F 145 after first IJ attack but before the Kami raid)
4th: P-51s from F188 Iwo Jima with 20k air start T+0: escort the B29s to/from target F137. If fuel, ammo and time permit cover the CVs at the end of frame from the Kami attack. (Suggest 100% internal fuel with 2 75 gal DTs and burn down internal fuel to about 200 gals after air start then switch to DTs.) See Bomber orders below for route and hook up. All Bombers (AG-8,Night Stalkers< DR): B-29s, 75% gas and 12 x 1000 eggs. Target is F 137 at 6,7,9,2 (See the target photos of F137 that Dewolf provided in Preliminary Planning thread)
T+0 air lurch over F188 at 20K, heading 270 and use 100% power - WEP if needed. Overheated motors after 30 or 40 minutes at 105% and 195 or 200 mph climb speed.
Plan to drop 2 x 1000 eggs so bombers can climb.
T+20 we turn north @ 9,3,2 +/- and maybe 25K or so
T+26 a good RV if required at 7,4,2 and 27K
T+50 IP @ 7,7,2 @ 28K and thence turn to 320 +/- for line up and such. power 95% or so.
After drop we turn left to 180, then further left once close together.
(Wish list: if buffs have any bombs left over and it's not too risky consider bombing F 145. NOT an order just a wish)
By following the route above we can avoid IJ DAR until about 5 to 7 minutes away from target F137, not much time for IJ to react. Hopefully Bombers wont see IJ fighters until egress unless seen by random scout or the donkey tells all.
Good Luck and Good Hunting
