Salute!

First some rant time:

I can not get the remote spawn cmd that Dawg posted to work. That's offline, and I assume online one must have CM privs.

So the current spawn the janitors set is way south of F188, and takes well over an hour to get to the tgt, and to simulate we have to subtract the lat/long from f188 ( where were are supposed to lurch) for all waypoints and such. Plus, the new flight model sucks, especially at 75% fuel. Expect 300 - 400 fpm climb rate ( below "service/combat ceiling" for those history folks) and that's at WEP or 100% power to allow wingies to fly form.

This is getting real old. And most do not have hours and hours just to practice getting to the tgt and have the real damage models and fuel flow and ...... Really getting old.

+++++++++++++++

For now let's plan according to this, and I apologize for no neat DTF or graphics today. Will do a CMEYE run and post buff tgts later. Many tgts and very few buffs.

B-29, 75% gas and 12 x 1000 eggs.

T+0 air lurch over F188 at 20K, heading 270 and use 100% power - WEP if needed. I overheated my motors after 30 or 40 minutes at 105% and 195 or 200 mph climb speed and autopilot on new model really sucks.

Plan to drop 2 x 1000 eggs so we can climb.

T+20 we turn north @ 9,3,2 +/- and maybe 25K or so

T+26 a good RV if required at 7,4,2 and 27K

T+50 IP @ 7,7,2 @ 28K and thence turn to 320 +/- for line up and such. power 95% or so.

After drop we turn left to 180, then further left once close together.

Tgt pics for the buffs when I can do some CMEYE runs, but no damage values due to the time from the air lurch at 10,0 and other probs spending over an hour to see what happens. nd I do not trust the damage models more than the new flight models.

Back to practice ( over 3 hours today, and maybe nother 3 hours). Maybe I could get a lite escort to follow and work out fuel and such as we grab and cruise for over an hour.

Salute!

Finally got back into the groove, and over 10 hours this week is too much. But to be expected as I have not done a DTF or flown route practice and such for almost two years.

Times are mission times, not frame times. We'll also probably stay at 28K due to haze and wasted time climbing

- We'll hit our turn to the north about T+20.
- RV at 7,4 area about T+26
- IP at approx T+50
- ToT approx T+55

Here's the dtf link for download: http://www.sluf.org/nomads/sitc4.dtf

Tgt lines are on the image and can be downloaded here: http://www.sluf.org/nomads/137lines.jpg

As you can see, too many tgts and not enuf buffs. Line A can proceed to the airfield st ahead and drop rest of load there for style pts and maybe catch a plane on the ground.

We can talk while enroute, huh?
