I was the high leaker at the end of your video Dobs. I became a glider and Muzz was able to catch me.

Good videos, but I am still trying to figure out how you can get fragged by a torp.

Understood Hawk, wasn't a frag. But something was going on with the bomber formations and AIs. We lost 4 or 5 to collision/explosion, or maybe 20 mil ottos?

I made a high 7 o'clock pass on a lead Betty with AIs in tow. As soon as the Betty exploded there were secondary explosions that rocked my fighter. Think Wilz and Chicdg lost planes making passes on bomber formations.

if you look at the 3:07 mark of Hawk’s footage, you’ll see that it’s either a collision with an ai or the blast radius from the torpedo impact on the CV.

Fragging in the context of WB game terminology is usually used to describe the dweebish behavior of someone purposely dropping bombs to blow up the aircraft immediately behind them. Getting blown up while flying over an active target as bombs/torps are being dropped on it does not constitute getting “fragged” in my opinion. Hawk's only intention when releasing torpedoes was to blow up the CV. Which he did.

Fragged in the real world is what happens when you fly too close to a bomb that was dropped, and take hot metal as a result.

I think that was the intent of the term in this case....

Lots of stuff blowing-up just starboard of the stern. Wagga going in. Hard to say which ord caused the damage.
