Jabo or someone help. After I see that the ".privatearena s3" is open late yesterday I give it a try--was able to do 1-2 CV runs. Try again this morning and can log on--however if I select CV-2 it does not give me any plane sets. Just what am I doing wrong? To this day I do not understand why the need for all the .privatearena, mummo stuff.
Also, form what I read, our primary targets are 174 & 134 with the NS--I've PM Muskie.

Salute!
Yep, we don't need all the steenkeeng security and such for the "privatearena s3" etc.
If we wish to have the "real" S3 arena for the CM and such to work with, then we need another arena that has the same basic settings but unlimited lives. If we can not do that, then we should at least be able to login to the real arena and then go offline to practice in private using whatever settings existed at the time. And if we have boats doing a carrier series, they do not transfer over to offline terrain.. Sheesh.
I whine about this because I could not practice with the actual flight models on a boat or anyplace else, for that matter. The offline stuff had vastly different FM's and such.
- we can not fly in the real arena most of the week using most of the final settings. Escept for final CV routes and such, the arena should be there for us all week unitil maybe an hour or two before the man event, huh?
- we can not transfer the real arena FM and damage settings or fuel divisor to the so-called "instant action" arena or the offline terrain of the S3 event. No carriers!!! And why have a "practice" arena offline if it does not have carrier ops or a way to transfer the S3 "Special" settings? BEAM ME UP!!!
- the boats are not cruising like real life. Because we wimp out on wind, but not stoopid flight models that many have serious problems with, we can not get 20 - 25 knots over the deck. Not mph, but knots!! MPH should be at least 30 mph according to my nasal radiator friends. Unless the sea is glassy smooth, even ten mph and a boat at 25 mph should give us 35 mpj over the deck.
Finally, there were numerous disco/WB failures Sunday afternoon on both iMac and a 'doze laptop.
Gums contines to whine....
