UPDATED:
We need to base the bombers closer to the fight. But, not too close, so we can climb to 17K.

Our targets will be:
F86, F87, F85, F84 (and F119, if we can cut their fighter threat down)

Bombers: Wellingtons; 40% fuel; 9 x 500lbs; CS:135 mph

RP: F125 at T+25

Time-Hack Mission One:

T + 0 = Take-off
T + 9 = F98; 8K, AS:135
T + 16 = F95; 13K; AS134
T + 25 = F125 (RP); 16K; AS:133
T + 33 = 3,8x; 17K; AS:162
T + 42-44 = TOT F86 / F87 / F85 (if we have enough ordinance)
T + 45 = RTB (VOR heading to F132)

Basing:
Bombers:
F132 - 3 steps

Fighters:
F89 - 1 step
F95 - 1 step
F125 - 2 steps
F124 - 2 steps
F160 - 3 steps

Do you think that they may not allot too many fighters to support their bombers due to the fact we have not really gone after them?

The problem with attacking their bombers is they will operate at 10,000', right in the zone where the Macchi has an advantage over a Hurri II. If we spot bombers with little escor, I am sure Dobs will order an attack.

The 2nd problem it that all of their aircraft have bee able to carry bombs from the start. We can't cover all of their aircraft as with their bombers and fighters, our fighters are outnumbered.

We will operate under the premise that any aircraft has bombs...and attack them. If they are 200's and we force them to jettision...good. If they are bombers...then even better...those die to 303s.
