S3 Series

All were up yesterday afternoon.

Just wanted to point this out.

Recommend a base defense plan this frame.

Bombing is not working for us, and we are so far behind in points maybe we can at least prevent them from making us fly 100 miles to the front in the last frame.

Will make for a very quick frame probably for most as the Macchi's from my perspective appear over armoured (or 303s non-effective) and over performing:) I can kill a bomber, but Macchi's just soak up the ammo...maybe Hurri II's 4 more 303s fare better..don't know.

The Hurri II's seem to be stronger but we've found that we still have to get very close (d2) for results.
We've had success when we use 16k for a hard deck with climbing turns to escape. Under 16k, all bets are off.

Good input Cromm. Our guys are under a 14k Hard Deck. But if they get bounced they won't get away from the 200 (even though the Macchi's don't have boost there)....200's carry the E too well. I'll pass the word for the 475th in Hurri I's for new Hard Deck at 16k.

FWIW - for various reasons, (including an apparent lack of concern by our planners at the Pentagon), the 475th will only have about 5 pilots available for frame 4.

I seem to remember last series, when we were killing Japanese butt, for frames 4 & 5 they mysteriously given better aircraft and their best aircraft, the Ki44, was listed as a 2nd line aircraft the scored triple points. Just wondering where our uber aircraft is?

There hasn't been a series of claims of biased, uber FM creation by Bluzoo, VNSLP, Idunno, Bollock et al against the Macchi

The funny part is that the P38G is one of the most accurate FM's with lots of effort to get it right while the Macchi 200 FM was created from about 5 data points in about 3 hours.

I did them both.

But the real goal of the complainers has been achieved. I won't be a part of a "team" where my integrity can be impugned without repercussion so FM progress will be significantly slower than before.

And that is exactly what they wanted to achieve. Preservation of the status quo.

But on the bright side, we should have an AWESOME plan since everything has been out since Tuesday evening.

We'll finish up this series and we won't be back. So, maybe Dobs and Dazed can help Jabo recalculate the sides without the Doolittle's Raiders in the mix. A couple of bozos running their mouths....

Your lack of caring for the S3 has shown...

-MA style plan of "lets take off and bomb shit" takes the spirit of the S3 away from those who enjoy it.
-7 people show....out of 18?
-People not in the squad so you use Country as an admin channel? One email saying those not in the squad meet me at XXX times so I can get you in would solve that.
-No plan past your "lets take off and bomb shit" first "plan", and seeing your ability to hit stuff...I now see why.


But on the bright side, you didn't let the S3 responsibilities slow you down any from the Main:



So 209 sorties at say 10 minutes each...2090 minutes...or about 34 hours worth of play in the main. And the S3 will get about 30 minutes of your thought process for a "plan".

nailed it after 1st frame..Unprepared..inexperienced. but hey who am I to call like it is....

I just wished we had a plan in play so everyone can mull it over.and polish the fringes..Instead of waiting until the last minute to ad lib. .I don't know about everyone else but Saturday evenings is where I have mission briefings.planning testing with squad before a frame..so we are ready and prepared for it..
