Salute! Ciao!

So flew one of the buffs to check out latest downgrades and when I came back into the arena there was a mandatory downgrade!! Was about 1600 CST.

This sierra has got to stop.

Sheesh. Mid-week, and if the models ain't ready for prime time, then we delay a frame or press on with the crap we have.

Gums whines.....

Salute!

Ciao!

Worse than I thot.

New downgrade messed with the HE111 FM and I saw the infamous high speed shutter and such we had with the the Lib a few years back.

Yaw/torque stuff was worse than it was just 8 hours ago. in same S3 arena. Might have been worse, as I logged on as a buff. And what difference shoud that make on my FM?

Will try a lite log and screw the damned critters.

Gums bitches.....

P.S. PLZ have some lites log as buffs and try the 111 or another buff with critters.

Logged in A buff. 111 "seemed" ok, but not my ride normally. t/O at max weight on a long r/w seemed easy enough. I didn't see the HS shudder, but perhaps I wasn't in the correct flight regime.

Gums, can you be more specific to enlighten the lite drivers?

Yeah Muzz.

could be a difference when you log other than as a buff. And I still have trouble finding all the commands for the critters.

More Thursday, but this is getting old and I still don't know how to control my critters.

The login interfaces have no bearing on FMs. Both logins go to the same arena.FMs are an arena setting. The difference in log ins is menu options and controls so that bombers can control wingmen and fighters don't get extras.

Salute! Ciao!

Still had problem Thursday on the 'doze machine. Will try the Mac later.

The FM for the 111 and less for the DO17 is "switchy", like flying on head of a pin. The 111 is worse than the DO17. SO I tried a 110 lite and it was really sweet.

Next thing. The stall warning sucks. No shake, no wing rock just a snap roll. This ain't right. If we only have a stupid horn that really doesn't increase in beep speed according to AoA, and we have no seat pad that vibrates, or good visual cues, then we gotta regroup, huh?

I appreciate the work that the FM team has done, but building a beautiful wooden wheel for a new Ferrari will not cut it at 150 mph. The torque stuff is way over-modeled, and the models do not assume "trimmed" conditions as quickly as real planes do.

Oh well, we gotta play the cards we are dealt and still have the ability to whine.

Gummy..

Try adjust your sliders for your stick... Make them a little less sensitive.

I lowered pitch and yaw to about 75 on the far left slider then scaled each one to right up by 5 until 100.

Made it much better.

Dunno if this helps but...been flying different buffs over last couple of days.
Have noticed an increased amount of trim that has been added so....I hit the runway, start engine at idle, punch up the L key til max units of trim are input, throttle up slowly til I get some speed up and she tracking straight, hit boost, mayhap flaps 3/4 way down runway, she lifts off nice and straight, track straight til ai is formed, begin my flight.
I have noticed that trim will auto increase in auto flight as different boost levels are hit. If I go otta autopilot and hit shift/G to clear trims she snaps out of trim but then I can manually input trim as I desire.
when set on course and wish to go autoclimb and climb power, the trim again sets itself automatic when hitting boost to maintain a straight track for hands free break time. Can actually go external and see the rudder offset.
They track good on the bomb run, staying at speed and well above stall, a bit more sensitive it looks like when in the Norden but only if speed is slowed down, and more so if you throttle back for a slow bomb run. Torque sorta takes over at this point if to slow and she falls off ona wing with a tendancy if to slow in level flight hitting stall speed, she snaps right over.
When defensive, so far they move ok til the E bleeds off, then it can get kinda nasty.
Just my observations so far.
I "think" I have the latest update, make sure that you do.

Gums sir, jabo reposted my thread for the ai commands in the general.

All in all i have been happy with the ai but they do have some quirks that need to be overcome
