hmmmmm,
OK, makes sense. So if the airframe is sliding or turning right, you know the bullets are going to go left.

So, a couple of questions
1 - does it work for bombs?
2 - is there a horizontal one?

Essential in dive bombing that you have ZERO slip. Gives me a clue when I'm hand hamming the aircraft, and not in coordinated flight...since I don't have sensory inputs working for me.

No horizontal one....but there is a pitch ladder you can enable. Dawger uses it, I don't:)

In real life, yaw affects bullet stream...not so much in the game:

We called it the 80% solution...gunnery takes 80% of the rudder input (or in other words, your sight lies to you!).

Thanks for the info guys!!!

This explains a lot of why I can't hit shit. I shoot at a plane like I shoot at ducks, lead them and blast away, but duck hunting I am not moving. So if I am turning in front of the target, I need to aim even farther ahead then I would expect.

As Juice says "All guns work at D1".
Planes and boats do not shift in only one direction.
They can move side to side, (see video) Up and down and forward and back,
If you see a distance of D10 to your target, that's on your front end,in reality it may be D8 to D12.
If someone hits you at D10 (your FE) he may actually be D8 on his end...
Using gun cam and reviewing it will give you a better idea of what's going on when it comes to bad connect.

madcat,

What do you mean by "gun cam"? ACAM?

I tried action! but my PC isn't good enough to use and fly, my FPS drops to about 20.
