Here is what I am thinking overall right now.

Everyone with the option for B25H in a B25 H this week.

FG's and KoN Fighters in P38 or Second line as necessary.

FG's early sweep of Nadzab base cluster to hammer the IJ early and get them moving west.

B25's en masse to attack static shipping at F60, F61 and shipping convoys between Finschafen and Cape Gloucester. This will be timed so that the FG's are on station to protect these strikes.

Subsequent sorties will be more of the same.

Details ASAP.

Only the strike guys get the H version (NS and RCAF).

Also, does a 50cal kill freighters or only the 20mm?

I for one would rather be in the Beaufighter for killing AI shipping but maybe others can hit more with the 75mm than I can.

Maybe send the buffs to the ports to kill static ships and the strikes in something faster to kill AI?

You are correct on the H. I will rethink the plane choice for Heavy Bombardment.

The issue with taking Mossies is speed. Handcuffing them to slower bombers is less than ideal and I am trying to avoid splitting our limited fighter resources up.

If NS wants to fly speedy Mossies I will retool to accomodate a combined RCAF/NS raid strategy in superfast Beaufghters.

.50 cals have no problem killing ships and the B25H shreds them.

I can setup a ship test routine in Operation Lost Arena if you want to test it out against AI

That would be good. Where is that arena?


P.S. the plane observation is just my opinion NOT the NS. That is Dews call.

If Muskyz is voicing against the B25h you can count me FOR the B25h it's a beast!
but I like rockets, cannon, bombs & wingmen.

I will setup the ships and make the arena public from 3 PM to 3 AM Eastern US time ASAP every day.

I am reading the rules and I think we only have to fly a 2nd line aircraft once. If that is the case can we take the B24 again?

Hello Hawk,

The rule is if you die in a first line aircraft, you fly second line aircraft in the next frame. So anyone who died in a B24 Frame 1 MUST fly a second line aircraft in the next frame they fly.

Also, I am planning a Rabaul Raid frame 3 so I need all the B24J's we can get for frame 3 so I would prefer none of the Heavy Bomb groups flying a first line aircraft in Frame 2 in case there are losses.
