S3 Series

There is a new update as of Sep. 11 (Friday) . When you download it, it will overwrite Dawger's map, so you will need to paste it back in your Warbirds directroy.

Jabo is using alternate texture path in the S3 arena.

If you have a file named newguineaS3.dds in your Warbirds root directory it will be grabbed FIRST. If it is not present, then the default newguinea.dds will be used.

What does this mean?

Save the map you want to see in S3 as newguineaS3.dds in your Warbirds root OR make sure there is no file named newguineaS3.dds in your Warbirds root and the map you want to see is saved as newguinea.dds

Sounds complex but its not and after the first series where we use a terrain that is also in the Main Arena it will make sense why we are doing this.

This is an excellent improvement via simple arena settings. MA can have their more game setup and S3s can have their more simulation setups without doing anything. Expect future terrains to have two dds maps.
