Salute!

Looks decent.

Nomads should be two-ship ( Gundoc and Gums) and we may want B-25 versus Mossie due to new FM's and such. Gotta try an offline mission.

We are both very fond of the Mitchell and it has big guns.

Gums sends...

Thank you Beaver.

I will start looking into the targets assigned us and will try to get a time schedule for you.

Also... I think we need to call out which targets we are attacking this frame... example target number XXX as we will not be able to run the same mission in future frames.

Quote:

11. Special Operation Missions - the Allies may designate a maximum of 12 special operations missions per frame while the Germans may have a maximum of 3 per frame. All the Allied special operation missions must be in the designated Operations Area(North or South) for the frame. Only those designated for that frame may be attacked. Careful planning is required to make sure as many of the missions can be completed successfully. Some missions score more than others so this should be taken into account as well. Mission parameters and requirements are detailed in the Mission List. All missions allocated for a frame are then removed from the list for subsequent frames regardless of the results. They can only be planned as a target once. If you pick twelve targets you should make sure there is a good chance of getting all twelve otherwise you will loose any you dont attack for the series.

on a side note... I've built an upgraded computer and still have to get all the joysticks & settings & installations all ironed out.

Beaver,

I may have missed it but I don't see 145 listed in the target list http://www.squadselectseries.com/events/SOF/SOFlist.pdf

also, I assume that by assigning us 147 you intend for us to do mission VV (hitting mechanized units)

4FG got it. It would be helpful if the strikers could provide a map or dtf of their planned routes of flight as they should be NOE and off DAR. I was thinking we would start from F31 and initially head west NOE before climbing so that we don't give away the strike southwards. Then stay off Axis DAR by proceeding to approximately the 5,4 cross before heading towards the French coast and the target area. That places us off our DAR also so position reports from the strikers will be essencial so that we can anticipate where they will need us. I assume they will take a most direct route home NOE. bombr-

Yes once you assign one of the missions for the frame it cannot be attacked in subsequent frames. All targets must be assigned before the frame and I will indicate so on the master list.
Its helpful if you can just assign the mission with the alphabet indicator so it is easy to follow.

Good catch Coolon, I made the orders before the list was up. Changes posted above.
