come fly a fighter Thursday night. It's difficult to set up a proper HO attack and yet a lot of fun.
Was hoping to be there but not sure I can make it. Youngest has a wrestling dual so depends when I get home.

as far as your suggestion, me thinks it is thumbing your nose at the aircraft table and the rules in general.
Look at it this way: you are one of the few who get to fly the 4 engine "fighters"!!
Fighter? In the first 3 series the buff's shot down 9 fighters, and I am expecting those were players gunning. We shoot down 3 per frame? Seriously? The otto is that bad? Why is it when I attack buff's they shoot down 80% (WTC) of attackers?
Again, I am just trying to think outside the box. The purpose of this series was to:
Quote:
S3#90 – Berlin By Daylight; Germany - March 1944
For the first time the USAAF targets Berlin by daylight. The mission is to draw the remaining Luftwaffe fighter strength up high over Germany and destroy it. The numbers of P51s has increased dramatically and they along with P47s will sweep the skies around the bombers and intercept incoming German fighters. Attacks on Berlin were sure to provoke the Luftwaffe so the stage was set for fierce duels across Western European skies.
where as it has turned into a see how many B17's the AX can shoot down. we can not protect the AI and the Human buffs, period. So lets do exactly what the event description says. Use the AI Buffs to get the AX in the air and use everyone else to try and destroy the Luftwaffe.
With Otto turned down so fricking low, we are not "fighting" anything. The buffs can't defend ourselves, all we can do is take the free AX attacks. The AX can attack the B17's with impunity.
I figured this is a crazy idea but according to the description, this would be the best way to fulfill the intent of the scenario. We can sure fly buff's again and end up with the same result as frame 4. The setup doesn't allow for anything different.
