Final frame is for allied redemption. Axis lead in points is too much to regain.

Salute!

Redemption needs to be offered by something other than the "military-industrial" complex. The Allies tore-up our island. Kill 'em all!

See map below. I'd really like to run the Ju-52 mission, but that would actually be a bit beyond the "spirit of S3s".

All suggestions considered. Suggest away.

First blush impression--We are actually closer to the Front than the bad guys happen to be. Once they take off they have very little choice of "alternate fields" if damaged. Should the Knights be able to close one or several of the remaining Allied fields, we are looking at a late Frame "big wing".

Mass attack on either Pantelleria or Tunisia. Let's invade the invaders.

...or we could spread out like crazy and go static ship hunting.

Naw,
Go for the kill em all scenario. Kill the big wing. Entire LW in top fighters vs the big wing.
One great glorious furball!

"Spirit of the S3" is more than a big furball with our dicks hanging out the window. At least that's my impression. It's strategy, its warfighting, in whatever form that takes. If there comes a time serious, organized tank squadrons form I think there would be a place here for a legitimate invite. I digress.

I think planning a full scale airdrop would be one for the books and within the spirit. Ah hell, its the 21st Century with Liberals in power. We get penalized for succeeding right?

On a more standard ops note. The supply depot and the beach heads are points holes the Knights could go slap happy on. We have the space for fighters to go unchained into the west. Malta is still a factor though.

Note that they can see our airfields, but not just to the East of the Front where the high value targets live. First blush impression is that they will be reluctant to go where they can't see. Flight leads are encouraged to note that our view to the South is far better than our view to the West.

Should we get to a point similar to Frame 4 where we have our fighters playing a "let's see if we can possibly get to 40,000' and WAIT", it is suggested that those fighters linger between the seven and nine vertical lines. Unless they have eyes on, they will believe that we are not there waiting for the intercept.

All aircraft should also keep in mind that there are few alternate fields from which to operate if damaged more than a couple of squares from your original home base.

HAWK:
What would you think about 190, 191, 193 to our South? Protected by a West sagging LF6 as no airplanes can get to you early on at all. This while the 352nd goes to the West and hangs out over our Western Front? Preliminary thoughts, real orders on Saturday.

I guess the wildcard is what do they hope to achieve given they are defeated? Points? Ballsy targets? Successful missions? They could raid our northern coast easy as well as get heavies into 107/108/109. Or they could just avoid us all together and go for the Straight of Messina. Easy thing is to hold in the 7,6/7,7 boxes.

NOE exfil out of the radar zone might be worth the initial WTF confusion so they don't really know where we are or went at all.

Dewolf,

They are doable if we are based close to them. I can work up BDA maps for them. There are also ships there as well.
