Gums I agree with Muskiez here. Makes more sense for UMM to hit 5 than 2. NS and RCAF can cover 2 and provide a bit of overflow if needed for 5.

I have a question for the fighter squads. Did Jabo allow the F4Fs to operate freely from land bases after they first launch from a CV?

OK, Movers will look at 5 and see what we can do. Might ask Hawk-san for help, but seems best points are gonna be south and north fields help with our RTB and other stuff ( not so much for points).

BTW, I found one of Nofly's files then I tried it using the Pearl terrain after logging into the S3. Sucker worked and the FM was definitely different for the B5. First thing you notice is the nose comes down sooner on the roll and more elevator authority overall. Hmmmmmmm. So the "instant action" doofer is not correct.

Use ".loadmo cv6a.mbl" And I attached the file using "txt" format, as the forum does not allow the "mbl" extension. So just rename it and see if it works.

In order to determine which version of the flight models are currently in use on YOUR machine one may type the following in the chat buffer:

.echo @:MODSVERSION@

It should return a four digit number

1028 is Advanced Flight Models used in AFMA and S3
1014 is the Main Arena flight models

Stolen from the "Company Boards". Theoretically a fool proof way to check the FM.

Yes, they can replane anywhere.

Gums, if you need help with a DTF or anything just let me know. I can punch something out pretty quick.
You too Hawk.

The earlier the better.

Bit late but you guys figured it out. There is no ord restrictions on fighters and they can strafe and bomb. Historically the strafing zeros caused a lot of damage especially at the airfields.

Ok, back from the mini vacation.

Muskie, any help with the DTF would be helpful and I think Noflyz is working on one as well. Gums, if we have enough Knights on, I might assign some to your group. It will all depend how many show up.

Tomorrow, I'll spend more time on this but so far it looks like you guys have moved forward and that's cool.

Thanks again all!

I think Nofly is TDY and it's work-related, from what we heard.

The practice boats are there if anyone wants them. And they are much closer to the S3 than the "instant action" venue.
