S3 Series

2 trips to Truk for us. Not sure how many ships we sunk but we got our share. Muskie logged in late and flew an F6F over and shot up some more ships as well. I lost a rudder on the first sortie but my gunner bagged a zeke in the process.

Level bombing with the TBDs worked only because the fighters drove the zekes down and stayed close enough to distrupt follow up attacks.
