Let's start talking all and here is what I am thinking.

I want escorts behind and in front as we approach the ships. Timing will be important because I don't want escorts having to RTB while the TBS are still inbound to the ships.

Noflyz, can you plan a route that can get us there. NS, can you let me know what you want to do as well. Do we all go in as a pack or spread out.

The KoN fighters will be imbedded again and did a great job last week. I really want to know from the fighter dudes what roll they think they are best at. I want to see a lot of ships sank.

I suggest high level bombing to stay inside the fighter envelope.

Just my 2 cents. I am not going to be able to fly next week so not really great for me to suggest stuff but oh well. :D

Salute!

The Tub has a Nord and can accurately drop from maybe 2K or so due to its terrible FM. But it can't loiter and such, so must make one run and then RTB/die.

We might could take out one small field near 22 and sink rest of the boats.

The Allied lites have to be down low!!! They are no good hovering in the stratosphere. If I had one lite nearby, I would prolly have escaped after lurching my torp. I fought that sucker for 3 or 4 minutes in my POS. Wildbill was gunning and can add to my war story.

Gums sir, I was successful at level bombing ships from 20k.
Something to look at especially with 2 wingmen.

Fields are less valuable this frame as they will still be open frame 3.

Recce is essential in any new terrain. There are two groups of static ships on the outer ring so you dont have to go to Truk Town to hit ships. Last frame several groups of AI ships were seen to be high-tailing it out of the ring away from the inbound USN attack. Another source of good points. Remember DDs cannot be strafed down but freighters can but you probably need F6Fs for this as they soak up lots of bullets first.

Which reminds me that Frame 1 we only got 1 wingman (Yes I confirmed that we set the value to 2 before takeoff). I think for frame 1 this was a good thing else enemy would have killed 1/3rd more than they did
