Comrads :
we will smash the North area in frame 3.. plenty of tgt from airfields, ports, ships, tanks, industry.. all big points '' i like to see the il2 in big #'s because of all the ground tgt's .
i like to see every one at low alts
we have a step advantage so let use it.. over power them with the Number and close 182 and 263 ASAP ..leaving the enemy a long way to support it Northern Front ..

23rd: field 4 .. cap area of 182 .. for strikes
4th field 190 ..cap area of 182 .. for strikes
MF field 178 ...attack and close 182
NS field 178.. attack and close 182
RCAF 127 ... f200 attack and close f 263 ( AC youre choice ) .. hit it hard and get out fast
then help with the 16 area
DR"s buffs field 25 fighters field 262 ...tgt f16 .if you are going to use b-25 . if you would like the IL 2 we can move you up to N. just a little closer
Nomads field 4 (AC youre choice) wait til we have cap over tgt area and tgt f16 and port area

I would also like for every one when you log into S3 arena.to please sit in a neutraltower..like f20..
I don't want the enemy to see where any squads are locayed..lets keep them guessing..alao if you are CGI for you're squad please stay in neutral tower..
let tighten up our security ..because I know I always look in roster to see where enemy squads are based before the frame.and I always look during the frame ..
So if I do it so do others..

Salute!

Yeah, stay down south or neutral, then move and fly rest of frame from assigned base.

Second point:

- The main tgt area is brutal WRT acks. There are at least 4 88's that can cause all of us lottsa grief, especially with current bufftuff settings. The 40's down at F182 are also a problem below 8,000 feet.
- On Frame 1 we took out most of the 40's on south side of F182 plus the DAR and one other tgt before being bounced and trounced. For some reason, that DAR complex was softer than other ones like at F21.
- The lites zooming about will certainly help, as dumb otto ack will start shooting at first plane within range. So this gives the strikers and buffs a fighting chance.

So we need a command decision whether to take out the acks early on, then rinse and repeat for strikes on the heavy targets until they are dust.

Lastly, the industrial tgts at F16 are very tuff, so Nomads will take Mitchells and big eggs. I also tried the Mossie with two eggs and RX. The RX can take out the 40's and small-medium buildings. Prolly also work on the 88 acks. I was able to duel with a 40mm using the RX, and nail the sucker before he got me. Of course, a 500 pounder takes them easily.

Comrade Gums plans now ......

I would like to stress that the ack settings are at the lowest possible settings, much lower than the MA and lower than previous S3s. 88s will mark you out but the 40mms will kill you. There are a few MGs and 20mms in this terrain but not a lot, mostly 40mms and 88mms. Because of the new terrains we are using different settings than some of the older terrains which had many concentrated AAA in a small area, the crimea AAA is more spread out. I would test in the S3 arena to see what it will be like before game day so you know what to concentrate on.

Good Luck Comrades

Testing would be nice, but some of us can't get in because we have no lives left.

Salute!

I was able to get in and fly in actual arena to test ack avoidance maneuvers at 1600 CST. I hit F21 to fake out the enema, if they were watching. Didn't see anybody on roster.

Good ACMCAM file for folks to see.

I would like for NS to fly Mossies this frame if possible. Since the Ferrets are not flying at all this series we are the only squad tasked for 182 so I need the 500s they carry. It would mean I'm limited to large or medium size fields (which we don't have many) so I also request to be based with the 4th at 190.

I realize how deadly those 40's at F182 can be. We usually worry more about the 88's due to our st-and-level run with the Nord that allows them to home in on us. Then, even with minor damage, If we disco when RTB we're finished.

One idea I had was to send two Nomads to those acks at F182 and maybe drop on the DAR for kicks. Builds up the total damage due to "hits". Send other two Nomads to hit the 88's north of F16. That leaves one north of F182 near the factory complex. Another one is around and hard to find, but may not be a player. Having the little Friends buzzing about will certainly help distract the big acks, but they will be too high to distract those 40's and smaller.

If we should have 3 of us survive, we can come back lower and work on the port. DR's should have plenty of eggs for 16 and the port.

Am I off base here?
