Problems with the AI have prevented them from hitting targets. You should see them doing something in the final 3 frames. You only need about 5 max bomb loads onto Berlin to have it ruled destroyed by TOT. The remaining players and the AI trail group can hit another target along the way. AI bombers will be relatively easy to down but the player bombers will be twice as hard as the MA. AI otto will be a bit tougher than before but player otto will remain weak.
Everything has changes since we last ran a bomber into germany event so it does take a bit of tweaking.

I know these things are difficult to set up and you do your best to try and level the playing field. Thanks for listening and responding!

(although I would like to see otto turned up! :D )

Was a very good read on this thread...as an axis lite...here is my observation.

1) if we could make the escorts Jett...we opened the door for Bomber killing.
2) if we could make the escorts turn 180 degrees it would be a long time before they could get into position to support the buffs again. Buff speed, while sounding great, from our perspective hurt survivability.
3) if we could entice escorts down below 10k, they would not be a factor again for our buff killers.
A lot is escorts took the bait and we suffered losses...but our shooters (buff killers) benefitted from our sacrifice.
4) tight formation is a bitch....sort of what do I shoot at when they is so many and collisions are a concern...frame 5 was tightest human buff formation I have seen to date.
5) with GPS, color discriminating AND AI discriminating DAR....you were presented with a disadvantaged setup from the start. Perfect SA in a known target setup....no guess work on our part of where you are going. Oh yeah and 100% radio contact at all times:)
6) post buff damage model change the 1.5 buff tuff seemed like a good setting.... 2 was absurd.
7) in RL think there were 700 bombers and 800 fighters on the axis side...thus diluting the LW...not so much here.

Tough nut to crack. My recommendation is next s3 of this flavor is to make it a no GPs, no colored Dar, and no AI discrimination dar. Much more "realistic and should provide the human buffs a higher survivability rate just on setup.
