Noflyz .... Do you have available at dtf file for download or your routes?

Attached..

Also Sakai San, we plan to be at 29K feet well before the run, probably at 25K when we approach 79 and continue to climb after till we reach target.
The G4M1 will go to 29900 feet and will drastically drop you down to 28K if you hit 30K. So to avoid that we will try not to exceed 29.5K.

Good luck with the new group buddy!

Question, when you do your DTFs, do you use the .cmeye to map out your way points? I wish there was a faster way to do these.

I'll have my DTF up this afternoon but for now here is our route.

F52 to 5.6x to 6.4x then direct to F96. This is one long flight so bring plenty of brew with you.

These are 20 mile grids, so not quite as long as it looks.

I'll toss you a case of Sakai when we meet up, I can slide my canopy back, just need to know who is going to catch it :)

I doubt he would want a case of me...instead, get him a case of sake.

I will put the AI on the same line as the UMM to Port Moresby across the mountains and send the Vals and Kates along the same line as the Knights\Nomads. That way I can start them as I see the formation pass. I will have to space them out a bit in grps of 3 so there is minimal warping.
If there is a second sortie to the same target areas please use the same general route so they will be more coordinated.

Sorry, I was thinking of you when I was writing that. Trying to be more authentic in a Japanese way.

I think the Mudmovers wlll be able to do the route again, however, I think the Knights will finish Goodenough in the first pass, so they will probably hit Port Moresby as I think Milne Bay would be too far.

<S>

Thanks sir! For the fields yes simply click on it and cmeye, and it will tell in the buffer where it started CM eye.

One way to not have to fly all over is to get the position of 0x0 and the distance of each grid in feet. In this map that is:

0x0 - 42300 42300 - call this O
Each grid is 1351680x1351680 feet in dimension call this DX and DY

so the 6x4 (Gx, Gy) cross is at: -

42300 + 1351680 * 6 , 42300 + 1351680 * 4 or 8152380, 5449020

x = O + DX * Gx and y = O + DY * Gy

To convert a full grid reference e.g. 6,4,9,1 6 use the values between Gx.00 and Gx.99 and Gy.00 and Gy.99 accordingly.. See diagram for
a reference.. So by this I'd use 6.88, 4.77 as values for Gx and Gy respectively.
