Doolittle Raiders and Nomads
Base all of your AC at 77
Fly Northeast and close that pesky island airbase at F84, then swing south along the border hitting
77,34,36,F80,67,44,45,46,F91 and 62 (if you have enough bombs left.)
then recover at F87 and reload, then go back to the front and hit
27,26 (then North to any you missed say 62, F91) then take more Easterly outposts, but try to close F85 and F81 (probably too many targets, but this way you won't run short)
Let me know which fighter your guys will be taking.

4th FG - F14 & F78 escort the DR, Nomad bombers - aircraft of your choice, after the First bomb run, they will be rebasing at 87, so you can rebase to 89 & 92. if either of those are closed, 18 & 88 are also open.

23rd - F79 patrol the northern half of our border, be prepared to jump in with escort of the DR & Nomad if they need help - Aircraft of your choice

Haze (100th), VFA211 and American Eagles - F22 - Patrol south central border, tank (M4A1) to tank (M4A3). You may need to help DR & Nomads if they need help - aircraft of your choice

RCAF 127 Wing - F2 Spit VC - Protect Port at F2/3 and shipping routes out of F3 and F1.

Note for DR and 4th: If the bombing run aborts early, then the DR's can rebase at 17 & 18 to make a faster turn around and the 4th can either split between 88 & 89 or all go to 87, just coordinate with each other please.
Comments and suggestions always appreciated. ;)

We'll need your whole group with us continuously, PAPPY. Don't think there is a better way to handle it. We are in the worst bombers for being shot down, easily. I expect to lose quite a few of them, otherwise.

Most Definitely, besides version 3, I also CO'd 1 frame each series in version 2 of Warbrids since I joined Warbrids in August of 1996 or something like that. I joined a year or 2 before they went to version 2.7, whatever year that is. :)

This Frame is #55 COing of Version 3 Warbirds.

I assume the bombing will be more flexible, the numbers I put down, except 84 and 91 which are fields are eligible for change. Depending upon the situation, 55 could be hit by the 23rd at some time and if there is not a lot of resistance, 81 could become a viable target.

I only mention it because the last time we used this map in a Tactical air war scenario, both 55 and 81 gave us fits.
