Sakai,

Salute!!!! It was a fantastic nights for the Knights. We all lifted from F6 and split into 3 groups of 3. We even had Swanee and his crew covering us. Soon we heard reports of cons North of our position so we headed more South. As soon as we entered the 7.7 grid we saw our target and with great surprise I saw 8 ships for the taking. Due to the action up North I called in Bigwlgs group to come join us. Everyone called their target, launched their torps and soon 6 of the ships were sent swimming. Our escorts finished off the remaining ships for a total of 8. All the Kates returned to F6 without any loses.

Group 2 lead by Waggaa had it rougher. While en route Waggaa hit the water while turning and avoiding what the thought was an enemy contact. The remaining two continued and in time did locate the ships but their torps missed the mark. They did returned and hope home safe and at least 4 Knights were up for a second sortie.

Thanks to Swanee and his fighters not one of us were lost to enemy cons and I hope to hear how the second sortie went.

Thanks for a great frame!!!

Ni!

Salute! Banzai!

Nice plan and execution, Hawk.

Some of us thot about such a scenario, but we went for the CV versus CV scenario.

See "goof".

Your escort must have been good, we were watching your TAC, waiting for a time when you needed help, but you never called us. ;)
