Salute!

Well, looks like the AI parked planes could be the difference. Muzz got a half dozen planes at F34, which was closed, so I throw the red flag. His other work killing Goonies was commendable, and wish we would have had lites patrolling those "green" lines and few of ours doing the same for the LW lines.

Secondly, the BDA for F74 shows all tgts destroyed, so DR has a valid reason to throw the red flag on that target.

Overall, interesting series. We were obsessed with the jets, so buffs took out all the jet fields right up front. The Knights closed many of our fields because we didn't have a coordinated air defense. By frame 4, the LW figured out where the big points were. Due to our requirement to fly a different buff, we buffers decided to use Forts and hit Big B, and Dobs was suggesting that. So we did.

One thing I really liked was planning and executing a frame using buff HQ and lite HQ versus one dude doing all the planning and such.

We don't fly a lotta "tactical" scenarios except for the lites, so this one was a good combo of both.

Gums opines....

You did great Foo. You won the frame and held onto the lead.
Its always harder for the attacker in the later frames as the defender figures things out and where the points are etc.
There has to be an unpredictable part of this game or it would be like any other equal sides fighting equal sides event. Sure its fair but is it war? Doesnt happen too often if I read history right.
All in all the guys in the S3s know they sometimes are hoodwinked, gang-banged or fighting upstairs against Errol Flynn. And yes it sometimes sucks as a game but it reflects war more truely than many other events out there.

GUMS, he's right. There was a flaw in my recon. I went with what was said regarding the guns/radarEm not being required and assumed that a "weapon" was a gun (not required). In the process of dealing with this issue, I have been reminded that checking the dot command (.show) will give us all the targets that are required. Will be doing that from now on.

Learn something all the time, don't we? :)

good job allies, I missed the last two frames but the first 3 it seems the buffs were exceptionally difficult for us LW to anticipate and set up on. The second frame in particular, I think it was Se Puas frame to CO ..The route and escort/ sweeps made it very very difficult to attack and get in a good HO. Well done, I do believe the BGs upped their "game" in this series with planning and hitting targets.
