Gentlemen,
Beaver has pointed out tunnel targets.......... need to know and understand what aircraft are needed to carry out such a mission.

My initial thoughts are to be bold and fun.
Thoughts like everyone in Typhoons (i know no bombs), or, Hi alt to NOE 10 miles from target at high speed and bomb everything then high speed out, climb, then engage enemy.
Or, everyone in bombers first sortie.
Or, full fighter sweep only fist sortie, with bombers (jabos) waiting for 30 to 45 mins to attack.

chime in and think FUN.

Setup is the same for frames 4 and 5. Allied fleet will be a bit more mobile as the static AI were easy to bomb by the Luftwaffe which field many more bomber pilots than the Allies.

If we all go full fighter sweep maybe can get rid of those jaboing 190's. We could have a squad or two go NOE then pop up just before we get to contact to surprise them on our numbers. They would be at good alt for the low level jabo's.

BTW, this is Frame 4. :D

So at this moment I tend toward the idea of large fighter attack to reduce the most effective fighter bomber for the enemy.
The idea of a squad or two low and pop near the ship sounds fun....... 352nd will be one of them.

Buffs would take off at T-0 and take a long route of +40 or so to reach targets. Attacking fighters would create a buffer area if needed between 190s and buffs who go in and out fast first sortie.

Second sortie would be a more classic escort and bomber run. If no bombers (or a very few are available) then we will/may go with jabos.

Chime in here, buff , fighters, give me a clue.....

The Germans basically won frame 3 by putting most of their able strike guys in bombers. They had many more bomber guys in the air than the Allies. Hopefully Darryl decides to put in an appearance and brings his guys into Frame 4. The idea of hitting targets away from Dieppe was very smart with smaller numbers and probably should be followed again even if the DRs show-up. The rotating CAP over Dieppe took a toll of their Do17s later in the frame but needs to be sent their ASAP so they dont get any free rides with their Do17s. Their use of level-bombing from medium heights was impressive and deadly. FW190 jabos can only use their limited bomb loadouts and were hit hard by the flak from the ships down low. They cant really strafe ships down so are limited in strike function. I would only worry about the Do17s.

Since nothing was closed, DAR & Bridges are worth 4 points each. Also the ports at 126-129 have lots of point getting targets. Th tunnels are worth the most, but the bombs to close them could hit more points hitting softer targets.

Some NOE sounds good, use RCAF as you see fit. :D

Trying to Jabo DAR is deadly to fighters :(

Since our goal here to to win...being bold and in there face..on 1 phase..and sneaky low down on the other..
If you send 2 squads low to hurry up and get over shipping you'll probably catch them with their pants down...
While you're doing this..you need to tip you hand to divert there eyes ..have what ever buffs you have.with 1 squad as Hvy escort show them selves on dar...moving towards a deception tgt to the west let say..so enemy CGI..will only see them and they think this is our move...Once our fighter that are low start the fray over our shipping...The buff group and escorts..get low...off dar..... changing direction...Only change direction..Once you off dar... swing around and plaster tgts..on the other side...The escorts with the buffs could be the hurricane II. .. they seem really good now in the main with the newly added engine bust...plus it can carry 2 bombs..
Once the fray over the shipping starts and has died down at first..move that cap.to a are nearer their 1 of 2 airbases..and force them to a area way from strike..that's swinging around low to hit ..Their assigned

Second sort I like the juices idea typical run with escorts...

Well that's my 2 bits worth...

AE! s will do what ever you ask of us..
