Since the allies are having to go deeper..i believe they will come in one big group to there tgt..Intercepting them in small units like last in frame 3. we took heavy losses. as they came south in one large force with all available escorts. at there desposal. we need to big wing and match them with our entire force at same time so that escorts cannot pick off our smaller units.. try and cause as much damage as possible with one heavy handed blow. if they split there forces into 2 groups we pounce on one..preferably the smaller group of the 2.
i dont mind C.O. job.it been a while since i have done it. so probably a little rusty. but i would like every ones input.. if possible.. maybe a TS conference before final order are made

From L63, the air-start field in the far east, we should be able to beat them to any target. Most of the targets are in the Central area or the North with the exception of the damaged plant near C76, Frankfurt. the closest target is the damaged target SW of C 79, Hamburg. It is about 300 miles from the bombers & 300 miles from F63, so we cam intercept them before they get to the target. zevery target is farther away. If we take drop tanks we have alot of airtime in case they dawdle, like last frame

Agree with you 100% on attacking the enemy with big wing. It increases our odds of surviving and getting kills. Units that arrive early MUST wait for the other units to arrive for this to work.

Step basing is ignored for this series, so we can base all plaes at the same field, if the lead group rums at 95% throttle we should have good cohesion.

L63 with drop tanks looks good. It protects both Berlin and Leipzig and would allow us to decimate the buffs before they reach the target area if that's where they go. Kassel is a likely target on the way to Leipzig and would net the allies 80 points in total if successful.
An allied attack on the North group of targets nets them 65 points in total. Such an attack has an advantage for the allies in that the round trip distance is less than hitting Leipzig or Berlin (40 mile grids). That means we have a shorter time to hit the formation before they get home and the allies will see fewer losses......they hope. If we locate at L63 and they hit the North targets, we will likely not reach them until just before they strike. Enough bombers will get through to be successful but we should be able to claim enough buffs to limit their gains in Frame 4.
I expect the North to be the allies target. Having a Big Wing of our own out of L63 with drop tanks is the best option to protect both the center and the north of the map. If the allies go for the big points in Leipzig, we will slaughter them before they can drop and their raid will fail.
