Frame one was done in an adhoc style. Worked out reasonably well. But for bombers into Germany we need a coordinated plan that everyone knows to allow proper escort for the bombers. I was seeing lots of questions about bomber location during frame 1. Going farther into the Fatherland will require even better coordination between the squads. I appreciate the 23rd and 4th doing bomber duty. That really saved our bacon. Discussing the use of the CA login option as well just not sure how many players know how to use it for bombers.

Frame 1 - done
Frame 2 -
Frame 3 -
Frame 4 -
Frame 5 -

If none are opposed I will take frame 3.
I haven't flown in either frame 1 or 2 but I've been keeping track of things.

I will fly with the bombers & lead from there.. will need to have the fighter leads coordinate what they should be doing once I post a route.

I will try to do so by Friday evening.

Thanks Coolone - 4FG will provide close cover for BUFF group. Robert had some good ideas in his frame 2 4FG AAR. Let me expand. Suggest the buffs launch from 44 which is outside LW DAR. Delay 5 minutes to give fighters a chance to launch and get in position. BUFFs should initially head north in the safe zone which is out of LW DAR. Use the time to climb to 25k. Perhaps reverse and head south once through 23k. Recommend targets to the south. Game map: http://www.squadselectseries.com/events/BW/BWmap.pdf shows "AK" at C57 open. We could hit that and exit north quickly to avoid buff losses. If 352 wants to hold in safe area out of DAR they can view where the LW is positioning and go rough them up. 2nd sortie could be a repeat but head further south to C76 to hit targets "76 (+)", and " 73 (AI)" with a right turn back north. I doubt there is time for third release. 4FG will also provide two Buff fliers as long as they last. Just some ideas. bombr-

44 is not outside lw radar, in fact testing showed that you are on radar N until about 4,7,4 to 4,7,8 area. 3,7,2 is where radar ends to the NW.

I have been testing the damage done by bombs. As of Wednesday night 2 x 500#ers on factory targets did in fact take them down. This was NOT the case in frame 1+2. It took 4 direct hits to take one down then. You should expect lots more destruction this frame. I will continue testing up to frame start to make sure 2 hits will take a building down.

23rd will field 2,3 or maybe 4 bombers first sortie.

I don't believe we have enough fighters to send very many away from the bombers. I would suggest a couple loners possibly to disrupt and report enemy positions.

My 23rd¢ worth.
