Tonight 7-9-17 I have canceled my warbirds account and will eventually terminate all affiliation with JG-51 and LF6. If anyone wants to take over the website and or the squad just let me know.

I will not pay to play a game that dictates what arena I have to go in when I log on. Bottom line!!!!

My drdart account in warbirds is cancelled. My TS server is Cancelled. In November this year the server that JG-51 and LF6 site runs on will not be renewed.

Jabo ... If you continue to need help here on the site or forum just send me an Email.

Very Sudden,
One would assume that this was the last effect to a very light straw.
It is not desired that you leave.
Always fun with you dart, always well fought and honorable encounters.

not good.

Salute!

Agree with Split and Juice.

Never know what the final straw is that did it for Dart, but best to let that be expressed by the individual.

Lets face it. There have been technical ( called flight model, damage effects, etc.) changes that only a few have pushed forward despite whines and moans of long-time players. Just about caused me to quit.

Then there have been the changes that Dart alluded to. I happen agree with him to some extent. If we have a few arenas, fine. But I still relish the really old days with one arena for all and it would change after a month or two. The rolling plane set was instituted, but I really do not think it helped. As the flight models got worse ( harder), we needed longer arena weeks to learn to fly the planes.

Then the critters. War Critters versus Warbirds. I am still here with several others from the years of old. With Wolf gone, I'll claim wingman to Beaver. But there are a few more.

I'll be here longer, and I hope some of the stalwarts will accompany me.

Drdart one of the best sportsmen and helpful players in the game in such a state?! Frustration is a constant issue with playing this game. Its money and its vision and often the old vets dont agree. At a certain point we have to say enough is enough. Each has his own individual level. I have seen people get mad at me personally and quit. It was not by intent for sure just something that was the last straw for that individual. I am sure WB did not mean to restrict or interfer with personal choice its just we are at such a low level, on the edge of dying out, he is trying something to get the numbers up in one arena. Dewolf often got on me about FMs and critters and such. He was a purist and I respected his reasoning behind the complaints. Often I would not use them in the same way again. But you have to listen to the hardcore forever players and adjust your thinking. Loosing new guys that have been in it hard for a year is one thing, loosing guys that have been here for a decade is another.

Thanks drdart for all the help on the forum and website. Never asked him but he volunteered and saved our asses. Its the few that continue to do this, take from their personal time to make the game better for everyone that have sustained this sim.

<Salute> Drdart

<S> Dr Dart and the "infamous" JG 51. Sad day for sure. Good luck and gods speed in all you do in the future.
Was a pleasure flying with and against you over the last years, you were always a class act. Stay safe my friend.
