I did a time hack for the 4th FG mission:

Flight time from Field 12 to shipping @ 3,5x at 10K (P51D, 100% fuel, full throttle) was 14 min.
Return trip 13 min (total commute time 27 min).
This would be under the most optimistic conditions. (Add more time for less throttle or high alt, of course)

Minimum time hack from Field 12 to WP3 rendezvous with bombers w/ P51-D full fuel+ 108x2 drop tanks, full throttle is as follows:

SE-PUA:
The only change that the bombers will want to change is that we land on the mainland at L19. Therefore, we'll need to do a .vor 19 check to get a straight line back home with a few modifications to avoid flak concentrations. We don't want to have any issues with fuel for the fighters and it will bring all of them back over our own mainland bases to help the 23rd.

You got it Darryl! As we are doing that, be ready to delay a bit your ingress… fighters may need more time to catch up with you if they find enemies.

Woulda thought if we are defending against jabo jets or 190's the 47d or 51 d woulda been a better choice. At least it aint a damn yak, p39 or a zeke of some kind:)

We will be taking off at T+0 and forming up with Nomads. We'll come on the radar at the time you designate. We'll keep close to that spot and when you are ready (fighters are ready), we'll head to targets.
