Again it's always a pleasure being at the helm with you guys. <{S}> As stated in the orders I tried to keep it simple because we were defending and did not have any targets to bomb. So I thought beaver's plan from frame 1 would be very wise to use again. At the start of the frame I think we were light on numbers from the start, but I think we were very efficient for what we had to do this frame. My apologies to the RCAF guys because I did not know you guys got wiped out early. <{S}>
Also I would like to thank the 352nd guys juice and fencer for chasing down them annoying b25s up in the NW at the end of the frame and making them swim with the fish Great job<{S}>. Overall i think we did rather well. We eliminated a lot of bombers both B24s and B25s not to mention took a bunch of their fighters down also. I believe they were only able to close 1 field this frame. Keep up the good work guys.

Question is did the Ottos kill most pilots or was it allied fighters?

Thanks again for making it easy to sit in the BIG chair.

IJA fighter pilots were able to down 26 AI bombers, 3 bombers, and 13 Allied fighters for a loss of 28, most of their forces. Hellcats struggled while Corsairs went 9 kills and 8 targets for 10 losses. Allied medium bombers scored 33 targets.

So, there are 15 "unaccounted for" aircraft losses for the IJ. I can't find a chart that shows "AI Victories". No human Allied Buff pilots had victories. In the case of our pilots, many of those "unaccounted for losses" are from engine fires and structural damage from AI buff fire that ended-up as a "safe bail" for the pilot. I suppose that an alternate way to look at it is that "Otto" got "about as many" as did the Allied fighter force.

Happy trails...

I had an engine fire. I put it out only to tear a wing off :(
