1 - To make sure, can each squad fly any mix they want, even if they stick to one aircraft all 5 frames?

2 - You mentioned operational restrictions on some aircrrft, but none are in the rules?

Yes you can fly what you want. Just new aircraft switching during a frame.

Japanese aircraft can only carry drop tanks no ord. There is not ground attacks by the IJ forces this event.

All aircraft have new wings and I believe the Ki84 has been slightly tweaked in the beta update. So test before deciding what is the best IJ aircraft for the job.

B24J AI routines loaded in the S3 arena. Test the hardness and otto of the AI formation there and provide feedback please.
