No CO for frame 2 ?

we need to protect our buffs better i believe it was the difference in points frame 1 ..

i was thinking the are vast areas of dar gaps to use . being smart and well planned i think we could get away with a strike in the rear area..swing south hit v48 and f28 attack hdg N.. as soon as bomb out run like heck to the west ..( hit the enemy where they are not)
the force attacking the GV units in that area keep hitting them til buffs are about to enter enemy dar on IP run then proceed to create a curtain as a blocking force to keep any enemy fighters from intercepting them.. i believe the enemy will once again be after TGT's in the northern area because that's where there points are.. closing those bases south not losing any of our buffs.. and if Jabo has the right damage script loaded ,, killing GV's should put us on top of the mountain this frame

i wondering because i'm not a buff pilot but is it doable to close both bases in one run ?

I'm at work today so I cant look at the targets themselves, but we had 4 pilots in buffs last frame.
flying the HE111 we can have 8 X 250kg bombs the Ju88 Gives us 4 X 500kg bombs.

the HE111 only does about 200 mph level the JU88 is faster....

it all depends on how many targets & how many bombers we fly.

I can try to look at things later today but if someone else can post target photos it would help.

I, myself am not familiar with this map and the radar holes....

Horrido!

Gums will take a look, but closing two bases is prolly a base too far.

test run AAR in red

I am having trouble figuring out when/where we can use the JU-88's. They are very fast down low and make stern attacks hard.

Looks like F1 has the 88's

Our basing will determine our TOT and then the route to avoid DAR. If ack is not too bad we can always sneak in and pop for the run. Due to the new policy of 100% gas, we can fly from anywhere.

lemme take a look.....

I must have something wrong and I do not know what color country we Luft dudes are. My S3 map does not show anything like I have been used to. I flew anyway for F28 and we could likely take it out in one pass with 3 or 4 buffs. However, the sucker was almost invisible on the terrain.

I'll try the old "classic" version and maybe the "classic" buff login, but this series needs work IMHO.

"..swing south hit v48 and f28 attack hdg N.. "

You must have meant F23...F28 is our field and is not in action this series.

I have to wonder if they will take some hurricanes from down south and try hitting our two ground convoys in the eastern half of the 3,2 sector?
Then again, they will protect their buffs with a maximum effort, as we all know.

My 2 ¢ worth anyhow.

This time of year is our busiest at work, or I would have taken frame 2. January will see us slow down some, so I'm grounded fame CO'ing till then.

LOL i work for a Airline.. talk about busy . company wants every thing in the air this time of year

i believe you are correct on the fields sir Split " guess i need new glasses " my bad ..with a 30 mile dar..and we blind them exposure to buffs limited .. in a shallow dive away from TGT area the hurri will never catch a ju-88.

Ju88s can launch from anywhere except the MC200 only bases(GAFs), only the LAF may base Ju88s though.
Luftwaffe are gold and WDAF are green.

For having a very rough plan and no centralized control I think you guys did very well. NS and Nomads continue to rock the CA login. A few pilots closed field after field in the south with opposition. Ju88 is a very good platform against the Hurri at medium altitudes, running away from climbing attackers. 23rd rocked the same aircraft with their excellent torpedo attacks against lone but armed freighters.

It is an interesting matchup with the NS\Nomad team plinking away again and again as a small group often without escort against the enemy which comes in as a larger bomber group with relatively heavy escort. Axis take heavier losses but do more damage.

The Allied scum can't be everywhere when they fly in large groups ;)
