Thanks Dazed <S>
i should of wrote a AAR but i got really BZY at work. then it slipped my mind ..
for my frame every thing was looking great the 475th was about 60 miles out in front our main body.. i kinda got a little worried you might be way to early but you gents did a outstanding job of breaking up the escorts as i watched the big blob scatter over 20 miles... i vectored the main attack group to the 9,2, x with a vector of 270 deg. all 3 groups within 5 miles of each other and with LA6's 109's was in the lead with the 110's in trail ..was a classic Head on . i watch DAR with amazement as our attack force was in a great position.. when the enemy Buffs was within 10 miles of our attacking force suddenly they turned South.. since i was on Coms with AE's they was able to turn them South,, i wished i was able to type better..but was unable to get the 69th to turn south.. they battled valiantly but was all kilt in the escorting fighters..LA6 did a outstanding job of distracting the rest of escorting fighters
i vectored the AE's around the South to intercept the Buffs..just before they hit their tgt.. AE's 110's was able to get into their stream unmolested. we shot down 6 lanc's ..Only 1 escort was with the buffs. a spit. he ended up dying under the massive guns of Foss's Guns as he dried to shoot down Cromm..all AE's ended up surviving the frame..
i honestly believe we was on their dar and knew when to turn .classic DR"s.. like in the main Darryl always turns away form interceptors so you're always in a tail chase. facing his tail guns
i chose the 110's for their massive 30mm pods in hopes they would make the difference in the buff tuff settings.. i was correct Kapsyl got 4 in 2 passes.
the Fog of war kinda bit me
i give a Big <S> for the effort every one put forth
BTW AE's only have 109's left to fly this series
