Changes in Red

Heavy Clouds at 30,000' - stay below them please

Luftflotte 6 - L56 - aircraft of choice - move into 5.6 box and wait for DAR to direct you.

JG100 and JG211 and American Eagles - M68 use TAC 16 to coordinate as all of their fighter squads are 3 or 4 steps
JG127 - L88 use TAC 16 to coordinate as all of their fighter squads are 3 or 4 steps

This gives us 5 steps of fighters (for ease of movement, you will be designated Luftflotte 16) and they should move into the 6.4 box and wait for DAR to direct you. If opportunity arises, I may dispatch a squad to head into Allied territory and hunt the AI aircraft. This would be later in the frame once attrition has reduced the Allied fighters as any other time would seem like suicide.

They have both high level and low level bombers so each group may want to keep a wing pair or 2 at lower levels to watch for NOE raids - Min DAR is 500'.

Knights who say Ni/JG69th - F70 -I would like you to take 262's out over the North Sea and to the 7 attack zone. Once the points are out, I will know whether the ships should be hit, or closing M23 or L26. If you stay below 500' over the sea you will not appear on DAR until you attack. Note: you are not allowed to shoot at anything except ground/sea targets. You may shoot at AI aircraft also.

Since 262's can only be based at large fields, you can expect the Allies to close as many as possible. Also note, that it is a high scoring aspect also.

Got this update from Jabo:

Points priority for Axis will be
1. Closed airfields - indicated on map as target stars
2. Bombers & AI Shipping
3. Antwerp Cranes & Bridge Spans
4. AI Transports along air routes
5. AI A/C at airfields
6. Fighters

Questions, comments are always welcome and desired.

I think the AI aircraft would be the ones parked on the ground at airfields. Wont be any in the air.

There will be flying AI aircraft. There are routes on the map, shown as lines. The AI are all C47's.

From the rules:

11. AI Aircraft - AI aircraft from both sides will be located on the ground at various target airfields; some, all or none depending on the time. As well Ju52s or C47s will be moving between airfields throughout the frame. These will not avoid or attack to limit warping. AI transport a/c will be in every frame in the general area of the map route arrows and will not respawn during a frame. These are primary points for each side.

Don't know why I didn't put it down. You can only lift from Large Airfields, so I thought if you lifted from L74 you could be over the sea about 20 miles from T/O and get down under 500' and be off DAR until your attacks. :)

You should be able to outrun them unless they have a lot of smash. There will be a couple that will compress their wings and plunge straight into the water or ground. :D

Hawk... It might be a good idea to have your guys practice landing the 262. If you are fast they take a long time to slow down for final approach. This also makes them vulnerable to attack.
