S3 Series

That may have been me Oskar. I didn't hear anything other than a boom and my engine was on fire. I looked back and only saw friendlies behind me. I got no check six, heard no pings, so I thought maybe it was either friendly fire or some weird glitch. Ditching without anything in the buffer afterwards made me scratch my head on the whole thing.

Yeah, we were in a rolling retreat. I saw you and 3 or 4 friends locked on to Noflyz under me. I came down dropped a notch of flaps and sped by a couple spits to shoot at the closest spit to Noflyz. With all the tracers it was hard to tell who was shooting at who. A couple pings and I saw your engine flame, so I just kept running North praying I had enough speed to lose your friends.

Frame was a couple hours of boredom followed by 5 minutes of madness

Great vids guys. Excellent work at 217 by the AE's and KoN's. No clue how the points shake out for frame 3, but at the end of the day, I'm thinking we all had a lot of fun and perhaps each side accomplished their goals for the night?

Was a helluva thing seeing 3 or 4 of you guys on my Spits arse, as I tried to RTB no ammo. Am surprised I lasted anywhere near as long as I did. <S> on your 2nd kill of me, Oskar.

Yeah the safe ditch distance needs to go back down to like 3 miles. That has to be enough distance not to get the inadvertent ditch on landing at a large field.

This is why ditching far, far from home works in S3



I suspect no one checked/loaded the sysvars with the terrain change to Sicily.

That's crazy. It's the third straight frame we ran into each other in the virtual skies. What are the odds? In Jlord's video you can see me and Jman approaching two spits. I tell Jman I will attack the one on the right, that was you. I think you broke a wing frames 1 and 2 and I got credit for your kills.

This frame it took 3 of us to corner you. Your were a 1/2 second from escaping when Jlord hit you again just before we pulled off. It was some very nice defensive flying!! Next frame is your turn to bounce me.
