Again, Thanks to everyone for taking part in Frame 3. A job well done by all !!

Bombers had very good escort all around with minimal losses. Bombers had good drops. Escorts did what was needed to keep the buffs safe.
352 did well at Malta, heading West then back to Malta, providing good intel. Rtb’d and got back South.
It was strange how the two sides’ plans complemented each other, except for the
fact that WE came out on top from my perspective.

Known targets destroyed: 6 small boats, 9 freighters, 4 destroyers at port 227
Not sure if any convoy ships went down.
210 radar? was reported hit as well.
Jabo reported he thought 220 was closed, but saw no message in the buffer.

Overall a Great Frame
It was a real pleasure seeing the plan in action.
Thanks to those I was in contact with via PMs here, Including Jabo

Split Sir,

Congrats on a well designed and executed plan. Your time and efforts are much appreciated.

<S>. Oskar

PS: Wish we would have had the fuel to intercept their bombers over 217, or as they returned to Malta. When they closed 217 it left us no choice but to nurse our thirsty 109s home.

Their heavies have gotten a free pass this series. Was painful to let them RTB in peace.

I believe we got 5 freighters from the convoy.

I did launch from 217, grabbed and engaged the wellingtons...errr should I say committed suicide, and one didn't make it home. You should have seen the spits looking everywhere for more 109's once bullets started flying :D

We could only do so much, and as such we did real good.

Very nice effort, thought some went down, but wasn't sure how many.

Great plan Split and it seems it worked out well for our side. It was a fun frame and the pucker factor was high on the first sortie as we closed on Malta with noone knowing where the heck the Spitfires were holding. <S> and WTG on your first time as a frame CO. :-D

Horrido!

Not too shabby, split. Good plan on the whole.

Gums and Cool tried for more boats late in the frame but paid the price. Still got more boat points than JU-88 pts for bad guys when counting Malta island results.

Two Nomads crapped out and so did a Stalker or two, so we were very short.

Biggest deal was the twilight zone we hit halfway from F157 to F217. Gums' vis went to some kinda slew mode that was stuck on rear view except when in Nord and holding down a key. Without trying online "help", it was a difficult run. Then Cool discoes after a frozen display for several minutes. So avoid the twilight zone down there in the 3,3 grid.

Field 157 is still viable and outta Allied DAR. F205 is really good, but ya gotta level off below daR once gear is up.

Rulling on F220 is gonna be interesting, and I'll let Cool debrief the night.

Herr Gums sends...
