Simple lag roll with too much rudder at the end trying to get rounds on target.

Way to end the flying portion early....dumbass! Goodnews is 20mm still doesn't do shit...didn't even get a piece...

Here's my video of that first melee.

Btw, good fight later in the frame Zinhawk. I forgot to roll the camera when you and the other 109 jumped me. Who was the other 109?

Nice videos guys, and I almost died from such a rudder stall myself =dobs=, luckily I was a few hundred feet higher than you at the wing drop :-).

Btw I could only see two single pings on the enemy AC in your video, which resulted in an oil-leak, while a majority of the tracers seemed to miss in front or under the bandit. So I'm not sure about the German 20 mm being to weak. When I watch my videos from this series I hear myself often saying "wth he should be dead!!??", until remembering that "Oh yeah, I'm carrying only 6x .303 cals..." ;) .

Looking at the score stats, the pilots in Warbirds have a hit-percent of only 6-11 %, meaning that if emptying the whole Bf 109E-4 clip, out of 120x 20 mm rounds only 7-13 bullets actually hit a target. I guess this percieved "guns are useless" feeling is a result of Warbirds players being used to fly around with mid-late war 6x .50 cals, 4x 20 mm, 4x .50 cals + 20 mm's etc etc loadouts. Considering airforces in ww2 willingly decreased the performance of their fighters by loading then with heavier and stronger guns, one can conclude that the early war loadouts were considered inadequate by the real life pilots, who probably bitched about it to their superiors as much as we do in these forums haha. This could mean that Warbirds is actually doing quite a nice job at simulating guns effects :-).

First pass two cannon hits behind cockpit...2nd shot opp...wing and fuselage again. Last shot opp...can't fully tell since he bunted so hard. But did get a nice face full of smoke from his engine (think it was jugggo shooting him and not me that caused the damage).

Did get a nice close up of Juggo though:)

From the video it Looked like Jabo was spoon feeding you guys detailed updates on the location and alt of Allied planes, including specific allied aces. Don't think the green guys got anything near that level of Intel. Dang German spies! :D. But I guess with 2 to 1 odds a little spy craft was warranted....

This would have been a good series to flip sides.

Well I had fun. Got disconnected once which was a bummer, didn't fire a single shot in anger, but was good fun to formation fly with my bombers and provide them fighter cover.

Dobs: Long ago, there was a video setting page in Warbirds
where you could change the color of the tracers based on the
type of weapon. I don't see it anymore. When I flew aircraft
with multiple gun types I found the different colors helped
in setting convergence. Might be nice to find that coding and
bring it back.

Dob's, who's the "Eeyore" guy towards the end?
Some of the worst combat comms I've ever heard...
And he ams to have some issues.
Or maybe I shouldn't rad too much into it as he's in the middle of a fight at the time.

For what it's worth, having at on time used the 109E4 extensively, at the point where you say "nerf bullets" It looks as though your 7.9s are tracking to the Hawk but your MGFFs are falling behind it.
You pulled from 2 to 6 Gs during that turn.
MGFFs are tricky and require a lot of practice.
Just an opinion bud.

What we really need is something at the end that tells us how many rounds we hit with at certain points of a fight.
