Good video, Spiro.

Damn discos.

Curious - was that a hole in the bottom of your cockpit because of the TrackIR?

Anyone else using TrackIR have that anomaly?

No it's a hole in the 3D model, exposed by the TrackIRs ability to look down. A couple models, particularly the ones without fuselage viewable (these have no cowling in window lean mode) have this issue. They are almost all copied models from the time of no 3D artists.

Can't quite wrap my head around why it's set up this way because it logically doesn't make sense, but WB uses two different file groups to build the cockpit view. One is the detail 3D cockpit, the other draws from the external model to fill in the outside pieces. The pieces are individually labeled for operation and so you have a pretty kaboom. Long story short a whole bunch of files need to have the same parts labeled in the same manner for everything to work, if an artist deviates in their original model, the parts list doesn't work properly and you have missing parts ala the copied 109 floor panels and the embarrassing 110s.

Might need to recheck your recording software to ensure that new headset is recognized by it as the recording input.
