S3 Series

Updated the map to indicate where the Main German Advance is. Between 51 and 43. This will be the FEBA so please plan accordingly. I think the FEBA is just between two fields but does not have any other strategic elements.

Now that the FEBA is designated for each frame that still does not mean you have to attack in that area. It may prove wise just to CAP it and hit other assets that may not be as well covered. Or go for broke when you have an opening and the enemy does not have it well covered.

Updated the rules to further clarify the FEBA battlefield.

When I try and go to Rules page it still shows the one for S-3 #96. Also the same for the aircraft listing.

The General merely reads the shortest distance between the two closest fields, and starts the fight there.
Yes, I expect some more realistic, and very real jabo work can take place with an actual effect on the battle without a roll of the dice. Allowing capture and recapture routines to run without human intervention will all by itself generate a x in y chance of success for either side.
IF both sides hitting the Feba area, you WILL pack a lot of stuff into a very small area.
Recommended tactics.
1. fighter sweep to achieve air superiority over feba area
2. Ground strike hard targets
3. Ground strike gv targets
4. Support your own capture routines by striking recapture routines.

Of course, you can generate your own battle at other fields other than the feba. The Feba is just where the General starts and more or less indicates the Shwerpunkt of the German advance. If the next deepest German field was hit, you may deny the Germans a actual field capture routine, because you have destroyed the field assets that they would run a capture routine from. Vicey versa works too.
Its not a complicated process, but it does have a lot of variables.
Not sure jabo plans for running the intel, as its a big deal that tells a lot, or whether he wishs to Donkey it.
I restarted the routine in the arena. have programmed a larger ai error ( so they don't shoot so hot at you) but they WILL shoot at you, and dropped the damage value of their guns. Just have to fly around in there and check it out

The "clutter" seems to present itself exclusively while in tower AND in "Spawn Point" view. It is consistent in that regard. Additionally the "Spawn Point" view will not zoom in to get a better view of the actual spawn point area as can be accomplished "normally".

Heh...at least you get Trees.

Plane Set

It would be pleasant if the Allied Plane Set could be enabled in the .privatearena s3 option.

Want to let all know...March 27th, the scheduled date for Frame V is Easter Sunday.

I don't see the Hawk 75 in the S3 arena.
