I would like to report some numbers, but something is very very odd in the log. I have guys with bailed gunners who then land and it looks like people are getting more than 1 kill on the same pilot in the same sortie. Anyone care to explain what is going on and what I need to look for to clean this mess up? Looks to be around bombers.

The bomber pilots can jump to their AI's after their current plane is shot down.

Last series, when I was shot down, I was automatically jumped to one of my AI bombers and it reported that "john doe" was shot down. That was the name of one of my AI's.

While I was watching the log this time, I was Gums shot down 3 times. It looks like it was assigned to Gums, then he was put into an AI so he could be sot down again.

yes, they changed something so that the fighters get kills on the buff pilots they shoot down instead of just a AI kill message.
I kind of screwed up re-upping after loosing one of your AI's.

Yeah, Beaver saw it correctly and log shows it.

I got a kill but then Split jumped on our form and picked us off one by one ( although my buffer said maneuver kill).

Gums sends....

Using the CA arena for bombers is making it interesting for the fighters. We get 3 AI's which means they have 4 chances of shooting my down. The question becomes when you have to use the secondary bomber. I am not sure how the rules work if I die 3 times but make it back with my last bomber. Technically, I lived but my clones didn't. Hmmm.

Seems to me if you bring back an aircraft "you lived". If you don't RTB...you don't. Easiest way to address it.

Sort of like applying the "If you have a penis you use the boys restroom/showers...if you don't you use the girls." logic

Sounds right to me.

I shot down gums, then shot him down again in one of his ai's, then got a maneuver kill in his second ai move...
Gums ole boy you must have a funky connection and that was why you collided with me. Your last ai warped real fast right into me on the film, from my six. Funny though because your other two airframes looked rock solid. Maybe you better talk to your ground crew.

OK, so probably not a big deal. All the kills are being recorded, so that is good. What is not being reported is the the loss of the plane. So, Gums was killed 3 times, but only lost his plane once is how the log looks. Jabo will need to note this in any scoring he needs to worry about along these lines.
