Last night I was waylaid by Delta. I was able to jump into the frame from 30,000' using the onboard Wi-Fi for about 75min (then my battery died).

What I saw was that everyone was doing what I asked to the best of their ability. THANKS ALL! I did not see a lot of kills for either side in the buffer so not sure how the evening went for the fighter guys. I know we were continually CAP'd by IJ everywhere most of the night.

The NS got some ships up north. In future frames we need to pound them harder (maybe with the B25's) as they did not try to protect them at all.

As for the fighter match ups, not sure what we can do any different. They have alt, speed, time on target and maneuverability over either of our fighter options.

All I hope is that people had fun.

Present plane match up means, you just have to not ...match em :) Concentrate on strikes, tanks ships and avoid fighters

Hitting tanks at 77 and 78:
Ohsix, kenl and myself made one sortie to the tanks at 77 in our heavy P39-Ds. First drop was to be on the gun positions to give us a better chance for the next sortie.
A lone enemy fighter was was above us as we lined up for the drop and he managed to drop on oshix who jettisoned and ran for his life, well he tried the best he could with the equipment we have. kenl and I hurriedly dropped on ack with what seemed like no effect....but we were busy trying to get outta dodge alive as many others appeared on the edge of dar otw very near us. I haven't had that much pucker power going for a few series. If it wasn't for our ack at the port area all three of us would have died not just one.....With the reason being they had many fighters over us just waiting to drop in if needed, and they did. I decided to scrub the next sortie as evidenced by the IJN all over the area and joined the rest of the group.

Learned that you won't be able to just keep recycling back to hit tanks. I think one would be able to time it right a few times during the nite but it will be a one shot deal, drop/strafe and run/rtb and wait for the next opportunity. Also strafing the tanks will be difficult with any kind of speed, so you will be low and slow if strafing.

It seems 78s setup makes it somewhat riskier as all guns have a clear shot at you all the time. However the strafing runs can be made faster. You are further off our radar though, so they could be waiting for you.

If you are going to be attacking 77, 78 or tanks there ->you REALLY need to practice as it isn't a cake walk by any stretch.
