Maps and arena updated. Log in to get the updated terrain.
Arena open for target testing in the New Guinea terrain.
Note the limited area of operations on the KTmap.pdf
Fuel Modifier is 0.8 so make sure you plan accordingly.

As the Allies you must defend against the Imperial Japanese advance down the Kokoda Trail. They will attack both Port Moresby(F87) and Milne Bay(F104) to help this advance. Expect to see G4M1s coming across the mountains at high altitude to hit Port Moresby as well as smaller attacks by IJN strike aircraft towards the SE outposts. AI a/c will be more coordinated this series around and come in with escorts and player formations but still relatively easy targets to shoot down if caught alone.

AI shipping, static shipping, bridges/docks and shooting down IJ bomber and strike a/c will gather you the most points. Pontoon bridges and Japanese armour pushing up the Kokoda will be prime targets as well. Closing bases will be difficult to do with the limited strike assets you have while covering the two main areas of operations you must defend. Small teams of heavy fighters or strike a/c do have lots of wide open spaces from which to hit the enemy but smart flying and avoiding main areas of operations are key.
You must be able to have rotating teams of a/c capping your main airfields so that when the enemy comes in high you have some assets in position to bounce them and then dive away. Fighting any length of time with the more nimble enemy at that altitude is just asking for heavy losses.

Its important to do a proper ground labels search of any new terrain so there are no surprises on game day.

Please welcome the United Mud Movers to the S3s. WBs newest bomber outfit. A/C updated with this great addition.

Good Luck and enjoy the rugged inhospitable mountainsides.

Jabo, where are the tanks going to be running? Up or Down? will we have a tank AI route shown?

Just static. I urge everyone to check out their assigned targets to find the little buggers. They wont be easy in that thick jungle.
