Frame V Orders: A quick look at the aircraft available to the LW shows that we’ll probably see lots of 109’s and JU87’s, or mixes of aircraft. I have noticed that shooting at 109’s from the six does little damage, if engaged with the 109 try to hit them in the cockpit or engine area. As I said earlier with the DR in Swordfish it complicates what we can do. I still believe that the best option is to try and get the LW in a fight early on and take their numbers down. Therefore: Doolittle Raiders: Based out of Field 160 in Swordfish. Sortie #1 Task: Strike targets at F154 and or F129 with primary targets being the bridges. Flight Plan: Launch and head for F163. Once DAR reveals LW, or engagement with 23rdFG and 352nd FG go NOE to target area. Use the natural terrain valleys for cover to targets. If DAR shows many enemy aircraft to the east hold off enemy DAR, to the south, until clear. Sortie #2 Task: Repeat Sortie #1 to close fields, or strike targets in the middle of the map, close to the front line. Fields 126 & 123. Flight Plan: Once again NOE to targets depending on LW coverage. I will attempt to keep you advised of the DAR situation and Allied disposition prior to all strikes. Please take enough fuel so you can loiter while fighters attempt to keep you clear. RCAF: Base out of Field 138 Sortie #1 Task: Defend the western costal bases we hold. Be prepared to move east if the LW strike down the middle of the map. If your base is closed rebase at MOB, or share fields with the 23rd FG. Sortie #2: Repeat of Sortie #1. I apologize for leaving you guy’s way out to the west, but I feel the LW will attempt to close the costal bases. If that appears to be what’s happening I will divert the 23rd FG to assist you if possible. 352nd FG: Based out of Field 152 Sortie #1 Task: Kill enemy fighters. Join with the 23rd FG near map coordinate 4.7.2 and provide a delayed action force for the 23rd FG who will be moving north. If numbers are available send scouts our in front of the 23rd FG. Hopefully we can bring the enemy to us and bring their numbers down to manage the rest of the night. If the LW doesn’t respond, assist in closing Fields 126 & 123, or give CAP for the 23rd FG which will attack first, or move east to assist Doolittle Raiders. Sortie #2 Assist Allied assets in closing fields with CAP or Ground Attack. 23rd FG: Bases out of Field 144 & 158 Sortie #1 Task: Fly a bomber profile at 8-10K altitude north, from the 4.7.2 area and be prepared to jettison bombs if LW shows early on DAR to the north. Goal is to lure LW into you with the 352nd supporting to the rear and at alt. Assist 352nd taking down LW aircraft. If the LW avoids a fight, strike Fields 126 & 123, with bridges being first targets. Sortie #2 Task: Assist in closing any previously attacked targets and continue to prosecute the LW. If we have time for a third sortie, we will again attempt to prosecute the LW and close any remaining fields. Or if possible strike and close other targets. Please attempt to keep our aircraft losses to a minimum for scoring purposes. Good luck gentlemen and let’s kick some arse! Or should that be donkies? =wilz= |

No problem Wilz, since we are at 138 in Hurri IIb's, shall we strike at 117 right at T+0? We might not close it, but it will be damaged and easy pickings at the end of the frame. At the most, they will have 2 steps there, but it may be too close for them to chance and in that case, we can get in and out before any reinforcements arrive. After that we can go defensive in the Western Area, but if they bring 10 steps there we will run away |

It would be interesting to know what Darryl's Raiders think that they can actually accomplish with BIPLANES carrying 500 lb. bombs. F-154 has fewer total targets, but has TANKS to kill. It MUST be a Greek thing..... I guess Nikko's Monument Supply had a prewar fire sale. This monument is also at F-129: |

Each Biplane can carry 3 500 pounders Also, Tanks are worth 1 point per turret. |

Say Dewolf, could you do a quick overfly of F117 to give us a visual for our lighting sortie at T+0? |

Bombs will destroy tanks, they are static tanks with a set value not like AI tanks. |
