.
Sortie 1:
We launched from fields 144 and 158 with 10 pilots flying Hurricanes with one pilots acting as a radar operator. We climbed south and then turned north to escort our Canadian friends into 113. As they hit the field a few bad guys headed towards the field and we all headed out of there fast. We lost one pilot to a disco with no damage and did wind up killing one of the bad guys making sure we all got out safe.
Score 23rd 1 Axis 0
Sortie 2:
We launched again from our home fields and headed north again escorting our Canadian friends making sure 113 was closed. We engaged the enemy and killed 3 enemy and helping close 113.
Score 23rd 4 Axis 0

Sortie 3:
We headed to kill bridges and tanks at 80. We managed to get a few spans and quite a few trucks before bingo ammo and gas. We landed and called it a night.

Score 23rd 5 Kills and ZERO losses. We also have a few bridge spans and tanks and trucks to our credit also.

The third sortie also saw HQ flight CAP 80 during our strafing attack then once our guys ran out of ammo and were safely otw home, HQ finished off 115 ( I think it was) for the closure.
Good comms between squads allowed this to happen.... keep it up!

Just Wanted to <S> and say "Thanks" from RCAF for Sunday. Was great to have that level of cooperation between squads. Your cover allowed several of our strikes to proceed safely and your straffing for the finish at 113 and 115 saved what would have been very frustrating attempts to close fields. It was nice to have friends in the air nearby and to propose plans on the fly that were carried out so well. Thanks again.
