Post subject:  Frame Two CO AAR

Sorry it is late - as many of you know I had a bad night near the end. I decided to cool down a few days and take it from there. I know I said "never again" but I was mad then, not at you guys, I was mad because in prosecuting the plan there was one Co that was making my job very difficult.

But that is over and I know better next time what needs to be done. Everyone did and outstanding job and the plan was so aggressive there was not a plane to spare. But all of you stepped up to the plate and made it happen. Almost the entire plan was completed except we were hoping for a third raiders and company run but I very reluctantly had to have them ditch.

Thanks you all of you for your support and I apologize for things I said at the end, my thoughts were really directed at one person and I will take care of that in private. Below is what I wrote up in word for this frame. Like some of you already said, I think we did well, very well! <S>!!!!

Jabo I will PM you about the ditch but publically I don't think is should be held against us in any way - it was commonly done in the real Solomon Islands fights - war is hell and this was in no way like strafing CV's finding that you got a kill of two of them for 12 points and you let that stand.

I want to thank all of you for an outstanding performance in frame two. I do not have all the stats yet but I know for sure we closed 45 and set the axis back a ways! It was a joint effort and a rough job, but it got done! And we managed to get a CV and some destroyers in the process thanks to some cool (no pun intended) heads and strike leaders that really didn’t need much leading - way to go Night Stalkers and Nomads! Or is it Nomad? 

Raiders – what can I say? You said you would get it done and you did! Very impressive and very loyal to your comrades – not even one complaint under very turbulent times. <S>! You wiggled your way through enemy forces and struck your targets with overwhelming force and dedication – a pleasure to work with and very professional the entire event! And you were there for the initial planning too, which I very much appreciate.

American Eagles – I hope you had some fun this frame as I am well aware of past frame duties and how frustrating it was, but you got in the mix this time, can’t wait to hear your impression. And VF, haven’t seen any early reports yet but word is you did a great job – thanks all of you!

4th – as always you guys rock! It was a very difficult escort mission but you did it without hesitation nor question, I am very proud to be a member of a great squad and very much appreciate the respect and professionalism demonstrated this event. Sorry we had to stick some of you on boring carrier duty but we could not afford losing another carrier having lost two last frame. You did it with grace and put on a happy face – thanks.

352nd – As always, you engaged the enemy fearlessly and aggressively allowing the buffs to get their job done. I asked a lot of you but you area 4 step squad so I needed that extra muscle did get the buffs in and out. That is why I had based you where I did, to give you more fuel.

Glad to have the privilege of leading a great bunch of men and women <S>

And Jabo - thaks once again for giving us this opportunity with all of your hard work! <S>!

Glad to hear that you may or may not lead a frame in the future. That's better than, "I won't do that again." :)

Thought you did a fine job, sir!
