FRAME 3 - OPERATION BARBAROSSA-ALLIED (Russian)
Comrades,
Adolf Hitler has lied! Our non-aggression agreement with Germany has been broken! The Germans have attacked Russia on a front over 2,000 miles long. German forces are pushing towards Stalingrad, Moscow and have now completely surrounded Leningrad!
There is mass starvation reported in Leningrad. We must provide relief to our comrades!
The Finns are seemingly content to hold their positions North of Leningrad, apparently not entering the city. However, they are pressing their attack East and to the North and have cut off our rail lines East of Lake Ladoga (F73) and West of Medezh Yegorsk (38, 53, 54, 55) It is imperative that these lines are opened immediately!
Mission orders:
1 - From F3, fly 5 C-47 transports and drop supplies (troops) over Leningrad F79 to relieve the starving troops and population. (report to Jabo in the Buffer each time supplies are dropped.) (pilots, after landing at a friendly field, may fly the aircraft of choice)
2 - Close enemy held areas of the Murmansk railway. F53, F54, F55 area and F73. Destroy the enemy before your supply trains get to the enemy held positions!
