To: All Allied Air Forces Malaya,
We're on the run gents, no doubt about it. We've been pushed so far there isnt much more room to retreat to. I say we stop runnin' and start fightin'!
At 7:45 this morning two RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) Lockheed Hudsons spotted a Japanese Naval force 20 miles N of Endau (F34). Unfortunately their radio transmissions were jammed and could not report the enemy's position until they landed in Singapore at 9:20.
By now the Japanese invasion force may have already arrived at F34. Get in the air asap and sink those ships!
God speed gents.
Orders: Sink the Japanese invasion fleet while fending off the Japanese escort fighters. Defend F34 and any allied installations along the front lines. Oh and also, dont die.
SPECIAL FRAME 3 RULES:
Red zone is a hot zone with enemy troops therefore all aircraft have been pulled back. T+0 launches CANNOT be from the Red Zone (1,22 30, 31 Singapore or Sumatara T+0 Launches only) 34 is open for ditching but no airframes available. No life lost, lose aircraft 35 is open to rearm and refuel but no initial launch from here (aircraft available)

They have overwhelming numbers. But they will have a large number (Doolittle raiders) that will be in buffs. So that helps somewhat. I say we forget about defending 34 and concentrate on attacking their fleet.
We need half of our side as high bombers. Get up to 20k. And hold 2o miles Southeast of 34. The rest of us in fighters and swordfish torpedo planes coming in low to pull down their cap. Once their cap takes the bait, the high bombers go in an drop on the ships.
Any comments or better ideas are welcome.
edit: we get the Hurri2b (with 2 250lb) this week, but we might want to save it for the 2nd sortie and use it to dive bomb the ships. hurris come in first at mid alt, dive bomb ships, drag cap down,, then 2nd sortie of high alt bombers drops on ships.... anyone know what a 250lb bomb will do to a ship?

That did not go well. I guess we should have all stayed together rather than splitting into 2 forces. We are just so outnumbered. That and we couldnt find the ships! Thanks to everyone for input and participating.
