Allied Command.
July 1944.
Its been a month since the Invasion Forces have landed at Normandy. It took an incredible effort and some time, but we have finally broken through. We are on the doorstep of Paris. The liberation of France is at hand.

Mission Objective:
to win 20% bonus points, you must close and hold:
•PARIS! Allies must close and troop Paris. Fl2 and T32. (Gold Square)
* •additionally must close and troop 1 of these fields: Fm 19 or T38 (black)


You must defend and HOLD these assets until curfew (end of ground attacks)
Once trooped, fields can be attacked, closed and trooped by German Forces so make sure to defend them!
Rebuild time for fields is 45min.

What fields can be used and what aircraft types, please.

Doolittle's Raiders 2, C-47 P-51B (D in frame 3), P-47D-25, P-38J (L-frame 3), B-17G, B-24J, B-25J, C-47*, C-47

Any airfield on our side of the front should be usable. Some probably won't have heavy bombers available though.

Are there new field assignments?

I have had a quick recce of the fields and it seems heavies can use field 10 or 4, can this be confirmed? If we are tasked to hit secondaries, is this expected to be on the same initial sortie or can it be done as a second sortie once the first is complete. Also, can we assign a second bomber group to hit the secondary targets at the same time as the main force hits Paris/Airfield?

Who will coord fighter escort, will this be done on the day or can we plan it much earlier? Please confirm enemy radar coverage. When can we use the arena to rehearse routes & timings? I can get in but flight is not enabled.

Apologies for all the questions but I'm trying to be one step ahead.

Also 8 up North and 1 way down South should be able to launch heavy bombers.
The S3 arena is no longer available, not even by using the .privatearena command...at least not for me.

Unless we can access the arena to check flight times, etc, there's little point in trying to plan anything. When will it be available to us, any idea, because if it's too late in the day...

If we send in the bombers in late and the c-47 later we cabn capture wiyh only 10 mnutes for them to capture back.

You can use the Europe 256 map offline for flight times.

Agreed Beaver, but timing will be everything. They will be in the weeds looking for the c47's that they know have to come, which will require fighters to clear the way. A bit tough.
Maybe even an early decoy strike on opposite side of map to spread the out.
